What we collect
checkzon is designed to be privacy-respectful. We collect no personal information beyond what is technically necessary to operate the service:
- Standard server access logs (IP address, user agent, request URL) — automatically deleted after 30 days
- Local browser preferences (theme, language, favorites) — stored only in your own browser via localStorage, never sent to our servers
We do not use analytics trackers, marketing cookies, or any third-party scripts that profile users.
Cookies
checkzon does not set any tracking cookies. The only browser storage we use is localStorage for your personal preferences (theme, language, favorited products). This data never leaves your device.
Affiliate program
checkzon participates in the Amazon EU Associates Programme. When you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase on Amazon, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This helps keep checkzon free to use.
We never share information about your clicks or purchases — Amazon's own systems handle attribution server-to-server.
Third-party services
To display product data, checkzon fetches publicly available information from Amazon's product pages. When you click a price link, you are redirected to the relevant Amazon storefront and become subject to Amazon's own privacy policy and terms.
Your rights (GDPR)
Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing to export or delete on our side. To clear your local preferences, simply clear your browser's site data for checkzon.
